Ghost Cast Server 11.5.rar This review is on Ghost Cast Server 11.5, which is still a fairly new application that is capable of providing voice and voice-over work to just about anything you can imagine. It comes with a number of pre-made packages and services that allow for both individual and group recordings up to three minutes in length, with options for ordering more time as needed after the first three minutes. There are a number of different features that this program has to offer, and it's surprising to see how much you can actually do with such a little app. Pros: - There are a few options for recording your files using this software, such as the spoken file (this is the only one where you can change your voice or make it sound like someone else), or the voice-over file (which is good for something like narrating a PowerPoint presentation). The problem I found with these two recording methods was that often you had to use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to move between each word or sentence, which can be hard and takes a lot of patience. So, I found that the voice-over file was the only option that would save my throat. Also, the sound quality of the files are phenomenal, and there are no problems with synchronization which can sometimes be an issue with other programs. Cons: - One issue I had with this application is that it didn't always recognize when I was done recording. You have to wait until you are finished speaking before you stop speaking by pressing "space" or "enter". So if you press "enter" during recording it will stop recording after 10 seconds of silence. Then, when you press "space," it will record for ten more seconds. - The next problem I found was that sometimes the software would start recording silently. You would say something and then hit "enter" to stop recording, and it wouldn't stop until you ended up speaking again. The only way to get it back to normal is to restart the program. - The other problem I had with this application is that if the program accidentally hangs while recording (which happens occasionally), your files will corrupt and you'll have to try and find the audio file again because it won't auto-save them inside of Ghost Cast Server itself. - The last thing I found with this application is that if your computer ever crashes (which happens to mine quite often), your recorded files will be lost. This review is on Ghost Cast Server 11.5, which is still a fairly new application that is capable of providing voice and voice-over work to just about anything you can imagine.
